Shareholders Approved NT$2 Stock Dividend & NT$2 Cash Dividend

Alpha Microelectronics Corp. (Alpha or the company) held a shareholders’meeting on June 7,2001 at which the shareholders approved a stock dividend of NT$2 to be distributed from earnings and capital reserves of year 2000, 200 hundred shares to be distributed per 1000 shares; and a cash dividend of NT$2 to be appropriated per share, NT$2000 to be appropriated per 1000 shares.
The major conclusions made by the shareholders’ meeting are as below:

The net sales of year 2000 was 1.4 billion which showed a remarkable progress of 37% if compared with that of year 1999 and the net income after tax was NT$165 million, with earnings per share NT$4.8.

For providing better services to support the customers in China, the board of directors was fully authorized to deal with all the investments & managerial strategies.
